Kristen Sykes recently joined Palace Pointe as Theater Manager. Ms. Sykes has worked in the theatre business for nine years, starting as a staff member, then a shift leader, and associate manager at Regal Brier Creek Stadium 14 in Raleigh. “I really enjoy watching movies and working with people,” said Ms. Sykes. “In this business you get to meet new people every day who also love the same thing I do. I also really enjoyed hosting birthday parties and working with kids. I chose Palace Pointe because it is closer to home and offers an exciting new opportunity to grow in the industry and meet some new people.”

King Baldwin also joined Palace Pointe as Group Sales Specialist. Mr. Baldwin had over 30 years of sales and management experience in real estate and fitness industries. “I enjoy the face to face contact of working with diverse groups to help fulfill a need for fund raising, children’s play activities or corporate events and meetings,” said Mr. Baldwin. “That’s why Palace Pointe is a great fit for me.”

Kim Jackson, initially hired as a bartender, was promoted to Food & Beverage Manager. In her new role, Ms. Jackson will oversee City Diner, Cheers Pub, in-house catering services, and the Palace Sweets candy store. “I am focused on making our dining options even better,” says Ms. Jackson, “and expanding our food services to make sure we give guests the choices they want today—healthier, fresher options, as well as the casual favorites we already offer.”

Palace Pointe is also happy to welcome its team of seasonal staff members who are focused on bringing smiles to guests.
